Hello Hello!

Je ne sais pas vous, mais ici en France l'hiver peine à s'installer, l'été indien dure! et ce n'est pas pour nous déplaire car c'est l'occasion de sortir se balader et nous donne l'occasion de faire des photos aux belles couleurs automnales.

 

I don't know about your part of the world but here in France, winter is not yet on the horizon and we're still enjoying our Indian Summer. This season is such a great opportunity to go on walks and take some photos in beautiful autumn color palettes.

 

Aujourd'hui dans la DT de Finnabair c'est mon tour de vous présenter une nouvelle page créée avec les produits Art Basic Art extravagance Art ingredient et les embellissements métal.

Je suis totalement sous le charme j'ai l'impression de me transformer en savant fou et d'essayer d'étranges recettes et mixtures.

Today, I'd like to present my new layout evoking this atmosphere and created with products from Art Basics, Art Extravagance and Art Ingredients lines.

I'm totally in love with these products and I feel as if I was transformed into a mad scientist trying out all kinds of strange concoctions and recipes. ;)

 

Je trouve que ma fille sur la photo à des airs  bohèmes une manière et un art de vivre que nous apprécions ici dans le Sud de la France!!!. Le combo de couleurs est inspiré des teintes de la photo, de l'art bohème et aussi je voulais des couleurs chaudes qui illustrent bien l'automne.

 

I think that in this photo, my daughter has this great Bohemian style and feel to her, this very special spirit and embodies the "art de vivre" - the style and art of living - that we really value here in the South of France!

The color combo on my layout was inspired by the tones in the photo and I wanted to play with the beautiful warm shades of autumn

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Et voici mon processus créatif!

 

Je commence par prendre un papier aquarelle. Parfait pour le travail des encres et le collage des embellissements. J'ai choisie deux papiers de la collection Sunrise/Sunset pour le fond de page.

I started by taking a watercolor paper. It's just perfect when you work with so much ink and a lot of embellishments. I chose two papers from the Sunrise/Sunset collection for the background. 

 Je coupe des morceaux de papiers de différentes tailles que je regroupe et colle en haut de ma page et en descendant vers le bas.

I then cut and tore the pieces of paper in an irregular manner and in different sizes. I grouped them at the top of my page and arranged them descending towards the bottom.

Je recouvre tout de gesso dilué pour harmoniser le tout et créer un fondu. Cela permet aussi de faire mieux accrocher les encres.

 

I covered everything with a layer of watered down White Gesso to add some harmony and blend the pieces of paper with the background. The gesso also helps all the inks better adhere to the surface.

  J'aplique sur certaines parties de  la pâte de texture cuivrée avec un couteau. 

 

Then, using a palette knife, I covered some parts of my layout with Art Extravagance Copper Crackle Texture Paste.

 

 Ensuite j'applique des paillettes à l'aide de gel mat dilué. 

Then, I went for the all the sparkling things. I diluted Soft Matt 3D Gel with water (not too much, we don't want it to become too watery), I mixed it with glitter and to my page apllied.

J'ajoute des tampons surtout sur le haut pour créer un mur, et des papillons à l'aide du mask et du gel mat transparent, au final vous verrez je les recouvre de Silks or!.

 

I also added some stamping with black Archival Ink... ... and some textural butterflies that I created with 3D Matte Gel applied through a stencil. When dry, the Gel is transparent and I planned to cover it with some gold Silk paint later on.

 j'agrafe plusieurs morceaux de papiers ensembles et je colle ma photo avec de la mousse 3D.

I stapled together a few pieces of paper on which I attached my photo with 3D foam.

 Je colle un grand nombre d'embellissements métal et de fleurs en papiers sur le haut de ma page pour créér une continuité avec les fleurs de la photo.

I added some metal embellishments and paper flowers to decorate the top of my page and to make them correspond with the flowers on the photo.

 

 Je colle tout et je recouvre de gesso blanc et ensuite de plusieurs couleurs d'encres Dylusions et Color Bloom. Je fais volontairement des coulures vers le bas de ma page pour un effet de mouvement.

After glueing everything down, I covered it all with White Gesso and then with different colors of Dylusions Inks and Color Bloom sprays. I let the inks drip to create a downward movement.

 Je termine en appliquant 3 couleurs différentes de Silks sur les reliefs des embellissements. Quand tout est sec j'applique enfin des paillettes violettes.

 

Finally, I applied three colors of Silks paints on the edges of my embellishments. When everything dried, I finished with adding some beautiful purple glitter. 
 

J'écris mon titre au pinceau avec de l'encre de chine

 

 

I wrote my title with China ink and a brush.
